The British man who married Barack Obama's step-sister, has revealed the future presidential candidate went out on his stag do in 1997. A night out on the lash in Wokingham sounds pretty tame, but even so there was a schoolgirl stripper, and when she appeared it seems Mr Obama made a sharp exit.
And it's just as well he did, really. If photos of him cosying up to a scantily-clad St Trinians girl turned up in the papers today, it could prove pretty harmful to his campaign, especially in the many areas of the US where family and religious values are taken extremely seriously. If nothing else, this little tale proves that even three years before he was elected to the Senate, Barack Obama already had his eyes on the big prize.
